The route from Hellnar to Arnarstapi is a beautiful 5 km hike on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with truly magnificent views from lava fields and rock arches to the stunning coastline around Arnarstapi and basalt columns. Around the harbor, you will hear a myriad of birds squawking mostly kittiwakes, gulls, and Arctic tern.

You can commence the route from either Hellnar to Arnarstapi to walk the coastline between the two amazingly stunning towns. Get ready for witnessing the greenest of greens fields, bluest waters, and majestic mountains. Any day spent hiking sounds like a good day, doesn’t it?

A half hour outside of Akureyri, the biggest city in North Iceland, Ytri Vik cottages are located in the most picturesque sight ever. Close your eyes and think about the most tranquil sight ever, this is it. The cottages are super cozy with mostly all amenities included. There is a private geothermal pool at the side where you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, alongside a barbeque and patio.
