Everyone wants a smooth, glowing and a perfect skin and while some may turn to make up for that, we’re here to stop you from making that disaster to your skin and help you learn to pamper it. Don’t get me wrong, I love makeup. But it’s a basic fact that it does harm our skin majorly. It’s all chemical, what else do you expect?

While makeup does work in hiding our flaws, it’s not possible for you to wear it constantly and 24×7 (Unless you like harming your skin).

Our skin is sensitive and needs all the pampering in the world and so, this article is going to be all about how you can get that glow back on your face and tips to get the perfect skin and natural glow for the wedding.

For a Natural Glow

Perfect skin

1) Aloe Vera:

Guys, if there is a Holy Grail of all skin related issues, THIS is IT. You can either use the Aloe Vera gel product that comes or the plant itself. You won’t see the difference for quite some time but trust me nothing works better than this. Apply the gel and leave it overnight. Wash off with cold water in the morning.

The key here is to use this homemade remedy every day.

2) Lemon juice

Mix two tsp of lemon juice and sugar. Apply it on the face and scrub in a circular motion, let it sit for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water to get a glowing skin naturally.

3) Turmeric

Turmeric is excellent antiseptic and skin lightening agent which fights skin disorders and prevents skin from looking dull.

Make a paste of turmeric and pineapple juice and apply on the face. Leave it on face until it becomes dry and wash off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy 3-4 times a week for achieving a healthy and perfect skin.

Some tips:

1) Drink lots and lots and lots and lots of water!: If you want to take one tip from this whole article, this is it. Water should be the focus keyword here because it has a zillion benefits- from getting pink lips to reducing dark circles to preventing acne. Water has literally got our backs and we totally take it for granted. This is your to-go doctor for having the perfect skin!

2) Avoid too much sun exposure: Especially from 10 am to 2 pm as it is the most harmful for your skin at this time.

3)  Nutritious diet: Beauty comes from within. And the saying that ‘you are what you eat’ is super correct! Increasing the intake of natural protein food like buckwheat, brown rice, broccoli, tomato, fish, and nuts is great for a healthy, flawless, and perfect skin.

4) The need of physical activity for your body is too real. It helps in cleansing the skin from inside and even helps in reducing stress for your body which otherwise leads to an unhealthy aged skin.

For Dark Spots

Dark spots appear when there is over secretion of the skin pigment called Melanin. It’s a matter of stress for anyone affected by it. Instead of caking up your face with makeup and making it even worse, try these natural remedies to get rid of them completely for good:

1) Vitamin E oil

Applying a mask of Vitamin E oil helps in the correction of skin discoloration problems, especially dark spots. It helps in repairing damaged cells and is one if the most vital ingredient in skin care products. Use it before going to sleep on the affected are and wash off with cold water in the morning.

2) Potato

Potatoes are rich in Vitamin B6, vitamin C, potassium, zinc, and phosphorous that help in rejuvenating the collagen production in our skin. Cut thin and cold slices of potato and leave it on the affected area for about 15 mins and then wash off with lukewarm water.

You can also make a paste using potato and honey and apply on your face before going to bed to help fasten the elimination of dark spot process.

Say bye bye to Panda eyes by following these natural remedies for effective results:

1) Cucumber, of course:

Cut thick slices of chilled cucumber and put them on the under-eye. Leave it there for about 12-15 minutes. Cucumber has skin lightening properties and gives a soothing effect to the under eye skin.

Yes, this is a magic therapy. No, it won’t work if you use it once in a fortnight. You have to make sure to make it a part of your daily schedule. For best results, use this twice in a day and you’ll gradually see the difference.

You can also use raw chilled potato slices instead of cucumber. It helps in reducing puffiness around the eyes.

2) Sweet almond oil:

Before going to bed at night, apply sweet almond oil to the affected area and gently massage for 2 minutes. Then apply another thin layer and leave it overnight. Wash off your face with cold water in the morning and use this remedy daily until the dark circles reduce for good.

You can also use coconut oil instead of the sweet almond oil.

3) Tea bags

Chill two used green or black tea bags in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes and then put it on the affected area for 15 minutes. The caffeine and antioxidant present in the tea bags are beneficial in removing dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.

Pimples, ugh!

Two things in the world I absolutely hate: Slow Wi-Fi and those nasty pimples!  Changing weather? They’re out. Going on a date? Look who’s there to say Hi again.

No matter how much you try to avoid them, they’re ziddi as hell. Follow some of these remedies to get rid of these suckers once and for all:

1) Toothpaste

Apply the normal white toothpaste (not the gel) on the pimple and leave it overnight. It is excellent in drying out the pimples in a couple of hours. Although if you have really sensitive skin, you should skip this one and use an Aloe Vera gel instead.

2) Honey

Dab a small amount of honey on the skin as it has anti-bacterial properties that help in reducing the size of a pimple. Leave it for an hour and then wash off with lukewarm water.

3) Egg white

Separate an egg white from the yolk and whisk it and apply the whisked egg on your pimple and leave it there for an hour. If it’s very swollen and red, you could leave it there for a couple of more hours and then wash it off.

It is also effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars as it has a skin lightening formula.

Perfect skin is not just a dream, following the above-mentioned remedies and tips will give you the most healthy looking and glowing skin. Try these out and see the difference!
