This year has been an entire season of sumptuous star-studded big fat Indian weddings. Bollywood actors like Neha Dhupia, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot and we just can’t get enough of their wedding pictures causing havoc on every social media.
It looks like it is a double wedding season for the richest man in the country and a big-time Indian tycoon Mukesh Ambani as son Akash Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani are both ringing their wedding bells this year. Both the Ambani heirs got engaged in a galactic affair. Akash Ambani proposed to his love Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta and got engaged in a grand ceremony at the Ambani residence in Mumbai, Antilla on 30th June and it was radiating with Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and many more.

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, Executive Director of Piramal Industries and son of Ajay Piramal, a billionaire industrialist, chairman of Piramal Industries were childhood friends and later fell in love and now are all set to tie the knot on 12th December 2018 at family home Antilla, Mumbai. It was almost a cliché if you look at their heart throbbing picture that went viral.
Aren’t they simply gorgeous? It’s going to be a fairytale wedding for Isha and we can’t wait to get a glimpse of her wedding. All the ladies out there, aren’t we just rooting for their wedding ensemble? Well, I can speak for all of us on this one I am sure.
Isha and Anand got engaged at the ‘wedding hotspot’ at Lake Como, Italy on 22nd September 2018. It was a three-day shindig and unlike all of the Ambani’s affairs, this was a fairly private one with only close friends and family members and a few celebs at Lake Como like Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Anil Kapoor, Amir Khan and Juhi Chawla. Isha was looking drop dead gorgeous wearing an exquisite Dolce & Gabanna.

Both the families have announced the wedding date and sent invites. Speaking of, that extravagant invitation card has been in the news for a while. It is a light pink and golden embroidered box that has the initials “I A” written which opens up with the tune of ‘Gayatri Mantra’ that consists of the wedding itinerary and four small boxes depicting four different flowers that appears to be as if it is made of gold. The four flowers are the significance of both Isha and Anand’s grandparents.

The invitation box also has a handwritten note by Isha Ambani on behalf of her fiancé as well asking for the blessings to their marriage. The invitation boxes cost each 3 lakh. Yes, you heard it right! It is going to be the most high profile, high budget wedding of 2018.

Isha and Anand will be hosting a pre-wedding party on 8th and 9th December 2018 for friends and family a weekend before the wedding in Udaipur. There has been a flying rumour about Beyonce performance on the day of the party. The festivities have already begun at the Ambani’s with a ‘dandiya’ celebration. Both mother Nita Ambani and Isha are twinning with their traditional attires and are looking lit, designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
