1) Farah Khan will Choreograph the Sangeet Ceremony
Preparations are in full force as her cousins –Janhvi Kapoor will be dancing on the special day, on late Sridevi’s song, Mere Haathon Mein Nau Nau Chudiyaan Hai, Arjun will be performing on the song, My Name Is Lakhan with Ranveer Singh. The magic wands behind their dance performances are the ace choreographer and their friend, Farah Khan. Sonam’s parents, along with her cousins, will all dance on specially choreographed songs from hit songs from her films such as Veere Di Wedding and Khoobsurat.
2) Intimate Wedding
The Kapoor family is busy in preparations of their “Ladli Beti’s” wedding, although it’s going to be a very intimate as approximately 150 members of the extended family and close friends of the Kapoors as well as Anand’s will be a part of the wedding functions.
3) Mehendi Function
All the wedding functions are to be held in Mumbai. So the sangeet function will be in a 5-Star Hotel in Mumbai and the mehendi function will be held in Sonam’s ₹35 crore home situated in Bandra-Kurla complex. This ceremony will take place in a ball-room like banquet hall which nearly covers 7000 square foot area.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja don’t believe in paper production. Although this couple has taken a very good initiative to save paper wastage and has opted Electronic invitations for their guests!

It is being said that the “Bollywood’s Fashionista” might get her bridal lehenga designed from the legend in Indian fashion and one of our favourite designers of all time, Anamika Khanna.
6) Grand Reception in Delhi
As the wedding will be held in Mumbai in Sonam’s aunt’s, Kavita Singh, haveli situated near Shahrukh’s “Mannat” but the grand reception will be held in Delhi as Anand’s a Delhi boy and all his family and friends will be there.
