It’s the season of edgy eyes and bold lips and with it comes a whole new variety of preferred winter makeup products. Just in case you’re an amateur like me and wondering what sorcery is going on here with different summer and winter makeup products, let me just fill you in on my research…

  1. First up, dry and oily skin. Summer months call for oilier T-zone and winter months call for too-dry everything. So you’ll be more comfortable ditching the foundation in summers and opting for a tinted moisturizer.
  2. Summer also demands a smudge-proof eyeliner and kajal, cos: humidity.
  3. Brace yourselves for sweat, the makeup destroyer, in summer. You just can’t ditch that compact, can ya?

Dry and flaky lips want good care before you apply the darkest of that shade as winter makeup calls.

…these and a lot more changes occur in the beauty routine of different months. As our skin complexion changes, makeup products should too.
