The Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor, the lovely daughter of Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor married the Delhi based businessman Anand Ahuja on 8th May 2018. Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh
The action-packed couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied their knot on 14th November in 2019 at Lake Como in Italy. The most noteworthy is that this wedding was so dreamy! Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding photographs are on-trend to this date. The couple had two ceremonies spread out on the course of three days. One ceremony was a Konkani one and the other a Sindhi one.
As per the Konkani tradition, the bride is to wear what her mother buys for her. Ujjala Padukone, Deepika’s mother gifted her this gorgeous outfit. Even more so, it was a pure gold zari Kanjivaram brocade silk saree. The renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee styled this outfit. The year ended with probably the most glamorous and worldwide passion wedding. The infamous American singer Nick Jonas and the iconic Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra, now Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Like Deepika and Ranveer, they had two ceremonies as well- one in the Christian manner and the other in Hindu.
The most noteworthy fact is that the renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the couples’ outfits. Moreover, it took almost 110 embroiderers from Kolkata, to curate this majestic outfit for Priyanka’s wedding dress. Emphasis on the fact that it was a “red custom lehenga with hand-embroidered and hand-cut organza flowers. It also had French knots in silk floss, delicate Siam-red crystals, and layers of thread-work embroidery.”
Likewise, Nick Jonas’ outfit was a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa. He was showing off his rose-cut kalgi and diamond necklace from the Syndicate Heritage Jewelry collection. Above all, he completed his outfit with Christian Louboutin. Their Christian Wedding outfits were created by the world-famous Ralph Lauren.
